HAVERHILL: Donald W. Cotton, 75, a former sheet metal worker, died suddenly at his home on May 25th.

Born in Haverhill August 7, 1932, Mr. Cotton was the son of the late Percy and Florence J. (Grater) Cotton.

Following his graduation from Haverhill Trade School in 1951 Mr. Cotton began a long and accomplished career with Haverhill Sheet Metal before his retirement in 1997.He had served with the U.S. Army as a member of 27th Engineer Equipment Supply Co. before his discharge in 1954 with the rank of Corporal. He enjoyed many years hunting and fishing in both MA and NH.

Mr. Cotton is survived by his sisters Marjorie Cotton, Doris Boyd; brother Roland T. Cotton and his wife Frances, all of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours and the funeral service will be private.
