HAVERHILL - Denise M. (Ball) Durgin, 55, lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Friday morning, September 14, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.

Mrs. Durgin was born in Methuen on November 16, 1956, one of seven children of the late Andrew and Florence (Kerr) Ball. She was raised in Haverhill, and educated in Haverhill schools.

Married for 30 years to the late Harold C. Durgin, Jr. who passed in 2004.

Denise cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Always gathering for family dinners together on Wednesday evenings. She shared many memories with her sister in-law, Jeannette Hefferan, and enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit her late brother Dennis and sister in-law, Jackie Ball.

Her surviving family members include her loving children, Michelle Boucher and her husband Matthew of Atkinson, NH, Melissa Ennis and her husband Keith of Haverhill, and Harold C. Durgin, III of Haverhill; grandchildren, Ashley Ennis, Amber Ennis, Cody Boucher, and Jacob Boucher; sister, Sandra Bergeron and her husband Wayne of Derry, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, September 19, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford at 11:15 AM. Funeral Rites will be offered in the funeral home at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery, Kenoza Street, Haverhill. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
