HAVERHILL - Debra Anne Brigham, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, June 18, 2013, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, surrounded by her family. Debbie was born in Haverhill on December 14, 1962, daughter of Richard J. Brigham of Miami Beach, Florida and the late Nicoletta S. (Bonvino) Brigham. She graduated from Whitter Vo-Tech High School and majored in Culinary Arts. Debbie started working at Merrimack College and baked many treats for hungry college students followed by many years at Market Basket in Riverside, bagging groceries. In 2003, Debbie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis but didn't let that stop her. Those who knew Debra, Deb or Debbie, knew she was a survivor; she had extraordinary courage! She taught everyone she knew patience and compassion. She loved to drive her car and was often seen around the city and Salisbury beach ordering lobster at Markey's or Browns. She also enjoyed horseback riding with her beloved horses, Emma and Stella. In the summer, you could always find Debbie at Grampy's or close to water for she loved swimming! Debbie was an avid Journey fan and LOVED Steve Perry! She has seen the band on five occasions and loved each one as her first. Deb was only fifty and still had plans on seeing them again and again. Deb also enjoyed traveling, dining out and spending time with her family and her friends at the Nevins Adult Day Center in Methuen.

She will be deeply missed by all, especially her father, Richard; sister, Kathy Brigham of Haverhill; brother, Patrick Brigham of Haverhill; nephew, Zachary Brigham; Aunt Joyce, Aunt Maria; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, June 21, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Bradford at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Haverhill. Visiting hours will be held Thursday in the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
