Obituary

HAVERHILL - David Harding, 56, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday morning, May 23, 2017.

David is survived by his seven children: a son Dana Harding of Chester, NH; daughters Keri DiMarca of Lawrence, MA, Jamie Potter of Cary, NC, Sheri Davidson of Haverhill, MA, Kayla Harding of Haverhill, MA, Jesica Harding of Haverhill, MA; and stepson Shawn Noel of Haverhill, MA; the love of his life and girlfriend of 7 years, Sue Dorough; his mother Helene Saldi, two sisters April Mixon and Denise Andrews and one brother John Harding IV, 2 nieces, 4 nephews, and 10 grandchildren.

Along with being completely devoted to his children, David had a love for motorcycles, music, classic cars, construction, and The Wizard of Oz. He got his first motorcycle at the age of 16, and that became his lifelong love. He was very passionate about classic cars, especially American muscle cars, like his '66 Dodge Coronet, which was his pride and joy. He had a brilliant mind, was mechanically inclined, enjoyed construction and was always working on a project whether it be his house, motorcycle, or car, and he could fix almost anything.

David was a wonderful father who put everything he had into making sure his children were happy and taken care of, and taught his kids the meaning of being a family.

Celebration of David's Life will be held Saturday, May 27, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in David's memory to the YouCaring Fund made in his name for MS research through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
