D'Aoust, Sr.
October 9, 1939 – March 16, 2017
HAVERHILL: David J. D'Aoust, Sr., 77, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2017 at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley following a brief battle with cancer. David was the husband of Rosemary (Dervishian) D'Aoust.
Born in Haverhill on October 9, 1939, he was the son of the late Richard E. and Marjorie E. (Hayes) D'Aoust.
David was educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill Trade School. He then began a long and fulfilling career working at Leewood Manufacturing, Dyetex Corp., Vernon Plastics, and as a driver at Consumer Auto Parts. David was an avid Red Sox fan, and his many friends enjoyed being in his company. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed driving the various Cadillacs he was fortunate to own.
Besides his wife of 47 years, David is survived by his children; David J. D'Aoust, Jr. and his wife Rachel of Merrimac, Lisa M. D'Aoust and her significant other Luis Pabon of Amesbury, Robert W. D'Aoust of ME; grandchildren, Meaghan Sheehy-Saunders, Paula Perez, Ariana Perez, Jeremy Perez, Anthony Gonzalez, Jacob D'Aoust, Mya D'Aoust; three great granddaughters; brothers. Richard D'Aoust and his wife Joyce of Bradford, Allen D'Aoust of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 21st from 4:00 7:00 p.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral service on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. to be followed by interment at Linwood Cemetery. Donations in David's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
