Obituary

HAVERHILL - David K. Clark, 71, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

Born in St. Albans, VT, David joined the Army at age 17 and was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War in a support capacity as a motor vehicle mechanic. Dave and Judy met in 1975, and they were together for a short while, when life took them in separate directions. Dave went on to travel the country working for a moving company, seeing every state but North Dakota.

They met again in May of 2001 and haven't been apart since. Dave was a very caring and thoughtful person and he will be greatly missed. He built his own bike, he was quite talented at this. He built a 1948 Panhead. It was chopped of course and his greatest joy was riding it throughout the country. Dave had two brothers, Alan of Phoenix, Arizona and Stuart who recently moved to South Carolina. He also had a sister, Brenda Juaire, of Grand Isles, Vermont and serveral nieces and nephews.

Dave was diagnosed in 2018 with esphageal cancer and underwent therapy. It returned in 2020 and after unsuccessful experimental treatments, he succumbed to it. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be private. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
