HAVERHILL: Daniel A. Tuccolo, 79, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully at his home on February 18, 2022.

Born in Haverhill on June 3, 1942, he was the son of the late Dominic J. and Mavis A. (Patterson) Tuccolo.

Dan was educated in Haverhill and graduated from Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1960. He worked several years at the former Western Electric before his retirement as a tester in 2000. While at Western Electric Dan served as Vice-President of the Communication Workers of America (CWA) Union. Dan also held a position for many years as a Deputy Sheriff at the Essex County Sheriff's Department. He was an accomplished billiards player and participated in league tournaments locally and in Las Vegas. In his personal time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing golf at Crystal Country Club where he worked part-time.

Dan is survived by his children, Christopher A. Tuccolo of Dorchester, Ma, and Stacy S. Richards of Kingston, NH; his siblings, Kenneth A. Tuccolo and his wife Linda of Newton, NH, Jeanne A. Canovitch and her husband Craig of Bradford; his nephew, Dominic N. Tuccolo and wife Hannah of Haverhill, with whom he was very close and several other beloved nieces and nephews. Dan was the brother of the late Kathleen A. Hill and Dominic N. Tuccolo.
