HAVERHILL - Dale V. Madigan, 69, lifelong Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2018, surrounded by his family.

He was born on September 16, 1948 in Haverhill, son of the late Bruce and Bertha (Gosselin) Madigan. Dale attended Haverhill Public Schools and graduated from Haverhill Trade School. He worked for many as a Cable Tester for Dynawave until his retirement.

His activities included being a member of the Crescent Yacht Club in Bradford, the Haverhill Lodge of Elks and he was a former participant and instructor of the Haverhill VFW Post 29Shoemaker's Drum and Bugle Corp.

Surviving family members include his loving wife of 35 years, Kimberley A. (Welch) Madigan; cherished children Amy E. Croft and husband Gary and Joshua G. Welch and wife Lorraine; grandchildren Morgan E. Croft and Elliot (Leo) G. Welch; siblings Frank Madigan and wife Evelyn of Jacksonville, FL, Maureen Haseltine of Haverhill and Timothy Madigan of Kingston, NH; uncle to several nieces and nephews who he had a special place in his heart; predeceased by his daughter Laurie Madigan and brother Gary Madigan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Services will begin at 5:00 PM.
