Cynthia L.
Cusick
July 27, 1957 – March 22, 2017
WINDHAM, NH - Cynthia L. (Chapman) Cusick, 59, of Windham, NH passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill accompanied by her loving family.
Cindy was born on July 27, 1957 to the late Norman and Barbara (Hallett) Chapman in East Longmeadow, Connecticut and raised in Easton, Massachusetts. Cindy graduated from Oliver Ames High School, Easton, in 1975 and went on to receive her Bachelor's degree from Fitchburg State College, class of 1979. She moved to Windham in 1993 where Cindy and her beloved husband David raised their two sons Aaron and Spencer. Most recently, Cindy worked as a bus monitor for Provider. She found the time she spent with the children very rewarding.
In her free time, Cindy enjoyed taking walks with her family including their affectionate dog Lizzy. She also took pleasure in going to the movies, boating, traveling, hiking, and canoeing. Cindy's quick wit and ready laugh made her a fun person to be around. She will be terribly missed by all, especially by her husband and sons whom she supported and loved unconditionally.
In addition to her devoted husband David L. Cusick, with whom she shared 27 years of loving marriage, Cindy is survived by her two sons, Aaron R. Cusick and Spencer C. Cusick. Cindy's other survivors include her brother Todd Chapman and wife Joyce (Rousseau) Chapman and their children Grant and Emily; sister Cathy (Chapman) Leonard and husband Richard Leonard and their daughter Blythe (Leonard) Murphy; sister Holly (Chapman) Johnson; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service for Cindy will be held later this year. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill. For online guestbook please visit www.driscollcares.com
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Cindy's memory to the American Cancer Society or to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House at 360 North Ave, Haverhill, MA 01830.
