HAVERHILL - Costas Fella, 83, of Bradford, passed away peacefully, Friday evening, October 26, 2012 at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen. Mr. Fella was born in Cyprus on January 10, 1929. Son of the late Michael and Chrisoula Fella. He was raised and educated in Cyprus. Mr. Fella worked in England with his father for a period of time before returning to Cyprus then working for the United Kingdom's Sovereign Base. Raising his family in Cyprus with his loving wife of over 50 years, the late Maria (Bakaliaou) Fella, who passed in 2005. In 1976, Mr. Fella and his family immigrated to the United States and settled in Haverhill. While in this country, Mr. Fella enjoyed spending time with his family and always held a special place in his heart for Cyprus. Mr. Fella's surviving family members include his sons, Michael Fella and his wife Emilia of Bradford, Andreas Fella and his wife Despina of Haverhill; grandchildren, Costas M. Fella, Marios Fella, Chrisoula Fella, Costas A. Fella, Katerina Fella and Maria Fella; sister, Maria Moulasi of Cyprus; brother of the late Xaralabia Kaeli and Nista Eleferiou.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service on Tuesday morning, October 30, at 11:00 AM in Holy Apostles, Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154-156 Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. A visitation period will precede the funeral service on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, (Rte. 125), Bradford.
