HAVERHILL - Corinne D. (DeLuca) Grise, passed away peacefully at home in Pensacola, FL after a short battle with cancer.
She was born in Haverhill on March 10, 1931, daughter of Michael and Antionette DeLuca. Mrs. Grise attended Haverhill High School then earned her B.S. Degree from Regis College in Weston, MA. She taught mathematics in the Haverhill Public School System then went on to become a Professor at Northern Essex Community College teaching mathematics. Mrs. Grise earned her Masters Degree from the University of New Hampshire then her PhD in Education from Nova University, Fort Lauderdale, FL. She went on to become Division Chairperson of Math, Science and Technology at Northern Essex Community College. After her retirement, Mrs. Grise followed her passion and traveled frequently. She founded a tour company named Holy Pilgrimages, whose mission was to lead groups on tours of Canada and Europe focusing on a religious experience. Through the years, Mrs. Grise led hundreds of people on many exciting adventures. Corinne was a long-time resident of Atkinson, NH before moving to Jacksonville, FL eight years ago. She was a woman of deep faith and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Grise was married to Gerard E. Grise for over 50 years until his passing in October of 2005. Her surviving family members include her loving children Charles of Pensacola, FL, Anthony of Haverhill, Therese Morin and husband Bob of Manchester, NH and Mark of Pensacola, FL; four cherished grandchildren Elizabeth Morin, Danielle Morin, Christina Grise and Alison Grise; siblings Richard DeLuca and Madeline O'Brien.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March 31, in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, No. Broadway, Haverhill. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill. For guestbook, please visit www.driscollcares.com
