HAVERHILL: Constance M. (Jellison) Weghorst, 82, died Thursday June 26th at MI Nursing Center in Lawrence. Mrs. Weghorst was the wife of Thomas E. Weghorst.

Born in Haverhill January 31, 1926, Mrs. Weghorst was the daughter of the late George F. and Mildred L. (Woodburn) Jellison.

Following her graduation from Haverhill High School class of 1943. Mrs. Weghorst continued her education at Fitchburg State College. Early in her career she worked as a tester at the former Western Electric, and then remained home to raise her family. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church for many years where she taught Sunday school and served in the nursery, and was a member of Order of Rainbow for Girls Assembly #39.

Beside her husband of 58 years she is survived by her children Thomas E. Weghorst of Haverhill, George W. Weghorst and his wife Susan if Litchfield, NH, Sharon L. Burke and her husband James of Dracut, Debra J. Garbacz and her husband Adrian of Derry, NH, William A. Weghorst of Raymond, NH; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Georgine F. Jellison of Haverhill and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to the memorial service Saturday June 28th at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Arrangements by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill.
