Claire Theresa
(Cadorette) DiBartolomeo
January 3, 1931 – June 2, 2026
Claire (Cadorette) DiBartolomeo, 95, of Haverhill passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, with her family by her side.
Claire was the eldest of four daughters born to Herbert and Lydia (Loubier) Cadorette and lovingly raised by her devoted maternal grandparents Ernest and Yvonne LaBranche.
She is pre-deceased by her husband of 67 years, Victor (Pete) DiBartolomeo and sisters Dorothy Chapman and Carol White. Surviving family members include her daughter Gina of Haverhill; two sons, Mark of Shrewsbury and Dana of Maine; sister Constance Chapman; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was educated in the Haverhill public school system and graduated from Haverhill High School in 1950. After graduation, she worked at Hytron in Newburyport, MA as a technician in the manufacturing of radio tubes for the military and televisions until she married.
Throughout her life, Claire was a voracious reader of all authors and genres. She was old-school and preferred the experience of holding a real book in her hands rather than a tablet and enjoyed seeing her collections fill her many bookshelves.
She loved discovering treasures at yard sales, flea markets and auctions. In later years, this passion led to her and her husband becoming partners in an antiques and collectibles shop in Kingston, NH where they specialized in glassware and refinished oak furniture.
Claire was laid to rest beside her husband at a Private Burial held at St. Patrick cemetery in Haverhill. Arrangements made by Driscoll Funeral Home, for guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
