GROVELAND - Christopher J. Ball, age 88, of Nichols Village Retirement Community, Groveland, MA, passed away peacefully in his home, on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Chris was born in York, England to Robert and Irene (Oldfield) Ball, on September 9, 1933. He served in the British Armed Forces in his early years and completed University prior to moving to the United States and enjoying a brilliant career as an Engineer at Digital Equipment Corp, in Maynard.

An avid traveler, boater, skier and Jaguar enthusiast, Chris had a passion for life and lived each day to its fullest.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His passion and integrity to those he loved was unwavering. His infectious smile and laugh will live on forever in the memories of those he touched.

Chris is survived by his brother Peter and family; wife Brenda Ball (Ainsworth/Dudley); son in-law Bob Lynch and his wife Laura; stepdaughter Jennifer Wholley and her husband Jeffrey Lane; grandchildren Alyssa, Jason, Erin, Danielle, Lillie and Wesley. He is preceded in death by his parents, his former wife Pamela (Bostel) and his daughter Caroline Lynch.
