HAVERHILL - Christine (Marrone) Ippolito, 90, of Bradford, passed away peacefully, April 29, 2012, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Ippolito was born in Italy on March 10, 1922. Daughter of the late Frank and Marion (Gaudino) Marrone. She was raised in Italy until immigrating to the United States in 1936. Settling in East Boston, she continued her education in Boston Public Schools.

Married to the late Peter Ippolito who passed on July 12, 1987.

They began to raise their family in East Boston and later moving to Revere. Mrs. Ippolito enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her surviving family members include loving children, Peter Ippolito, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Billerica, Christine Egersheim of Bradford, and Anthony Ippolito and his wife Ginnine of Brockton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Rose Fazio of Georgetown, and Marion Maggio of Everett; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, May 3, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Bradford at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
