SOMERVILLE - Chester P. Williams, Jr, 61, of Somerville, Massachusetts, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on December 22, 2014. Loving brother to Carolyn Nelson and her husband Paul of Duluth, Minnesota, and Marinell Williams of Rockport, MA. Niece and nephews Stephanie and Andy McKinnon, Jessica Williams, Dirk Vander Woude, and Tricia and Jon LaRoche. Cousin Janice Morevitska and family. Close friend to John Wenerowicz and family.

An enthusiastic fan, Chester loved Boston sports, from the Bruins to the Red Sox. He also played a competitive game of chess. Ever musical, he loved listening to and playing keyboard and guitar. Some favorite artists were Neil Diamond and Lifehouse. A creative person, Chester also wrote original music and stories.

A deeply spiritual man, Chester will be remembered for his kindness, faith, and intelligence. He derived inspiration from daily prayer and study of the bible. His humor and compassion for others will be missed. God Bless.
