Obituary

Plaistow, NH - Charlene A. (Suduiko) Titone, 65 of Plaistow NH, formerly of Lawrence, passed away on March 29, 2017 after a brief unexpected illness. Charlene was the beloved wife of Francis J. Titone and daughter of M. John and Irene (Wallack) Suduiko. Charlene lived in Lawrence for 64 years and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lawrence and Chandler Business School in Boston. She worked for the Lawrence Public Schools for over 30 years.

She was a warm, welcoming, kind woman who always put others' needs above her own. She has been described by many as being selfless with a "heart of gold", an "angel on earth" with a smile that would light up any room. Charlene devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren, teaching all of them that family is what matters most. She was extremely generous and loved to find the perfect gifts for people, adding special little touches so that you could feel the love put in to choosing it. She made every holiday important and special for everyone in her life. She adored shopping and decorating her home which always looked like something from the pages of a magazine with every detail being perfect. She loved flowers and beauty and enjoyed spending time in her yard, having cookouts where the family could gather to eat, play bocce and badminton and challenge her to a game of 45's. She was an amazing cook and a perfect and gracious hostess who made all feel welcome. Charlene was the heart of her family and the perfect example of class, compassion, strength, kindness and love.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 46 years and love of her life, Francis J. Titone, her two children, Tania Philbrook and her husband John of Plaistow, NH and Jonathan Titone and his wife Emily of Marshfield, MA. She leaves 6 grandchildren, Riley, Keeghan and Cooper Howson and Haley and Connor Philbrook, all of Plaistow, NH and Hunter Titone of Marshfield, MA. She also leaves many brothers and sisters in-law, dear cousins, nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.

The family would like to thank the physicians, nurses and aides of both Holy Family Hospital ICU and Lahey Hospital and Medical Center ICU for the devoted, kind and compassionate care Charlene received during her illness. We will be forever grateful.

In accordance with Charlene's wishes, there will be no calling hours or formal service. A private family service will be held at a later date.
