Obituary

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share the passing of my wife, Celeste C. Wentworth. A beloved wife, loving mother, loving sister and best friend, who passed away on June 12th, 2026 due to complications from a long time illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Celeste grow up in Wakefield, MA, where she attending the public schools and graduated from Wakefield High school. She went on to a business school where she took additional courses in Accounting to build the necessary skills needed for the work she wanted to do. She was hired by C.R. Bard a medical parts supplier where she worked for 38 years in the accounting department. She was loved by all those she worked with. She retired at age 62 due some early medical issues.

She was a person who cared about people and always willing to extend a helping hand to someone. She loved spending time with her family very much. She had a strong faith in God and would often share it with you if you asked. Her hobbies were being outside working with her flowers and enjoyed collecting collectables and doing all kinds of arts and crafts. She also loved browsing through the stores just for the fun of it.

Celeste is survived by her loving husband of 39 years. Bruce J. Wentworth, her daughter’s Kathleen Wentworth, Jennifer Wentworth, Grandson Kai Wentworth, Her sister Sandra Louis and husband Joe Louis, her bother Jay Landers and his husband Jasper Lawson, brother Barry Landers and his wife Wendy Landers, She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
