HAVERHILL - Catherine A. (Yuele) DeFeo, 69, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Haverhill on May 21, 1949. Cathy was a lifelong teacher and then Executive Director of Haverhill Day Care Center in Bradford. She dedicated 52 years to the children and families of Haverhill and loved her job. She was an avid reader, loved going to the beach and on her annual Disney vacations. She was a lover of musicals, Barry Manilow and Hershey's Chocolate. She will be greatly missed.

Her surviving family members include her loving husband, Michael DeFeo, Sr., cherished children, Michael DeFeo, Jr. and Marcie DeFeo, all of Haverhill; siblings Dennis and Linda Yuele, Billy and Sherri Croston, Richard Croston and Kelly and Lorna Croston; many loved nieces and nephews; predeceased family members include her mother Helen Croston and siblings Patricia Currier and Paul "Babe" Yuele.
