HAVERHILL - Carol Arsenault, 80, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017. He was born in Haverhill on January 22, 1937, son of the late Joseph and Louise (Dube) Arsenault.

There is a lot of things that can be said about Carol Arsenault. He was a lot of things such as a carpenter by trade. He loved boating, fishing and spent his days watching the river outside his windows and watching his favorite TV show Walker Texas Ranger. None of that compared to the love he had for his children Frederick Rowbotham of Arcadia, FL, the late Jay Arsenault, Lorraine Simoneau and partner Greg of Haverhill, Leona Ploof and her partner Scott of Haverhill, Joseph Arsenault of Tilton, NH, Louise Marie Arsenault and partner Alex of Salisbury, Richard Arsenault of Plaistow, NH and Roland Smith of Newburyport. He will be greatly missed by all of his cherished 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving best friend and mother of his children Lorraine Ricker of Limerick, ME. He leaves many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother and father also 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Carol was a loving man who put the needs of others above his own, he was a free spirit who loved life and his family. No one will ever know how much this man will be missed, there has never been or ever will be another living soul quite like him. He will be greatly missed by many.
