HAVERHILL - Carol Ann (Amato) Rolfe, 71, of Haverhill, formerly of Danvers passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, April 28, 2014 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital.

She was born in Boston on May 11, 1942, daughter of the late Rocco and Maria (Panarese) Amato. Carol was raised and educated in Everett.

She was the loving wife of 52 years to Robert W. Rolfe, Sr. They resided in Danvers for many years where they raised their children. They moved to Haverhill in 2005 to be closer to their family.

Her activities included knitting and crocheting; most of all she was a loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Her surviving family members in addition to her husband include her children, Andrea Rolfe of Salem, MA, Robert Rolfe, Jr. of Georgetown and Diana Gallagher and husband Tom, Jr. of Haverhill; cherished grandsons, Patrick and Brendan Gallagher; sister, Diane Correale and husband Ronald of Malden; brother-in-law Parker Caswell of Marblehead; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte 125), Bradford from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM.
