HAVERHILL - Cameron Leslie Lemert, 54, of Haverhill, passed away December 26. He was born in Washington, D.C. on December 6, 1969 to Peggy Grice Lemert and Lee Lemert.
He is survived by his brother, Clayton Lemert, of California and his sister, Trish Shaw and husband, Woody Shaw of Haverhill, MA. He also leaves his niece, Jennifer Shaw and nephews, Chris and Kevin Shaw, of Haverhill, MA. Also, his extended family Glen Green and Brian and Sam Green. Special thank you to his NRS group home family and his DDS friends and advocates.
Cameron treasured every day of his life while fighting hard and valiantly throughout his disease. He dearly loved his family, his Georgetown Group Home family, staff, and friends; as well as Michael Jackson, the Dallas Cowboys, Dukes of Hazard and arts and crafts.
He is predeceased by his parents, Peggy and Lee Lemert, his beloved adopted dad, Bill Graves, and brother Andrew Lemert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Saturday, in the First Baptist Church of Lexington, 1580 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington at 12:00 PM. Please meet directly at the church.
