HAVERHILL: Brett Alan Gates, 47, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2021. He was the husband of Jacqueline R. Ireland.

Born in Beverly, MA on April 5, 1974, he was the son of Alfred F. and Anita M. (Blanchette) Gates.

Brett was employed as a plumber and pipefitter in the construction industry.

Beside his wife of numerous years and parents, he is survived by his children, Brett A. Gates, Jr. of Haverhill, daughters, Eva Gates and Eden Gates of Haverhill and brother, Christopher Gates.
