NORTH HAMPTON, NH: Betty Ann Duffy, 88, formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2021 at the Exeter Center in Exeter, NH. Betty was the wife of Robert B. Duffy with whom she celebrated seventy years of marriage on December 2, 2021.

Born in Haverhill on February 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Hilda (Thompson) Claridge.

Educated in Haverhill Betty graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1951. Following brief employments at Western Electric and Haverhill Savings Bank, she began a lengthy and rewarding career as an insurance broker at Fred R. Smith in Haverhill, and Flynn Insurance Agency in Ipswich.

While in Haverhill, Betty attended Riverside Memorial Church. She was a most accomplished artist. She and her husband moved to North Hampton in 1992. Betty found great enjoyment and fulfillment in her family-oriented events like camping, travel, kids sporting events, 4 ^th fireworks in Portsmouth, Dinners, relaxing at camp, and canoeing with her family. She also enjoyed Country Western Dancing.

Besides her husband Robert, Betty is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Clark of North Hampton, son, William Duffy and his wife Phyllis of Southwest Harbor, ME; grandchildren, Leslie and Matthew Clark, Brittany (Beltram), Patrick and Adam Duffy; great grandchildren, Landon and Ryleigh.
