HAVERHILL: Bertha L. (White) Hayes, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on December 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Charlestown, MA on December 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Clayton F. and Mary White.

Mrs. Hayes had worked as a clerk for the Internal Revenue Service for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Noelle C. Smith and her husbanf Michael of Haverhill.
