HAVERHILL - Barry J. Bly, 55, of Bradford, passed away suddenly on June 4, 2018, with his loving family by his side. Barry was an avid boater who loved his time on the water. His boat was his most prized possession. He enjoyed some of the best times of his life fishing from his boat while cruising the Merrimack River. He had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He helped many people throughout the years using his multiple talents. He worked very hard as a builder and there was nothing he could not do or fix. He will be greatly missed. His surviving family members include his mother Claire Bly Merrick and father Dennis J. Bly, Sr. and wife Phyllis Bly; former wife and friend Corinne Bly; children Courtney Bly, Danielle Bly and Zachary Bly. He was so proud to welcome his first grandchild Lucas Von Heck, born just 4 months ago; siblings Dennis J. Bly, Jr. of Ventura, CA and Lisa M. Connolly and husband James of Pittsford, NY; stepbrothers, Eric Chappell and wife Cecily and Geoff Chappell; and several nieces and nephews. Services privately held.
