LOUDON, NH: Barbara R. Raynes, 84, formerly of North Andover, passed away at her daughter's home on July 14, 2022 surrounded by those she loved. She was the wife of the late Leonard R. Raynes.

Born in St. John, N.B. Canada on July 29, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George and Georgie (van Wart) Corvec.

Barbara emigrated from Canada to the U.S. in 1964 and lived in Lawrence thirty-one years before moving to North Andover. Her work career as an assembler at the former Lucent Technologies, Inc. spanned twenty years before her retirement in 2001. Barbara enjoyed being with family and friends and enjoyed bowling at the Haverhill Citizen Center.

The oldest of fourteen children, Barbara is survived by her children; Frederick Raynes and his wife Kathleen of Derry, NH, Norma Ouellette and husband Louis of Loudon, NH, Donna Burrington and husband Wayne of Derry, NH, Brian Raynes and wife Lisa of Derry, NH, Laurie Victor, and husband Alan of Haverhill; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
