BOXFORD - Barbara A. Kastrinelis, 86, of North Andover, MA and formerly of Boxford, MA passed away at Edgewood Retirement Community, early Thursday morning, August 27, 2015.

Barbara was born on December 8, 1928 in Framingham, MA to parents Mildred and Charles Adams. She was a graduate of Framingham High School. Barbara married Peter L. Kastrinelis in 1952. Peter and Barbara moved to Boxford, MA in 1959, and were long-time residents through 2014. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, homemaker and day care provider. Barbara was an avid gardener, loved animals, and most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her brother Charles Adams of Framingham, MA, and her beloved granddaughter Jacqueline Kastrinelis of Groveland, MA. Barbara's surviving family members include her loving husband Peter of 63 years, and her three sons, Peter and his wife Sheila of Boxboro, MA, Michael and his wife Kathy of Groveland, MA, and Timothy and his wife Kelly of Ipswich, MA; and her seven beloved grandchildren, Eric, Laura, Alex, Michael, Andrew, Timmy, and Kristina Kastrinelis.

Calling hours will be held Monday, August 31, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday, beginning in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, West Boxford.
