NORTH ANDOVER - Barbara Ann (Doe) Joseph, 80, passed away on December 5, 2015, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on June 12, 1935, daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie Doe. Barbara worked for many years at the former Butcher Boy Steak House, Mello's Lounge, Raytheon Company and most recently the Town of North Andover Senior Center coordinating volunteers. She was a dedicated worker who rarely missed a day. Her many friends would say she had 'the gift of gab', was 'best dressed' and will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her children, Michelle and husband Kevin Pronovost, Denise Georgoulis, Robert Gereau and Lesley Joseph. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her sister, Darlene Holling and brother, Edward Doe and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by long time companion, Carmelo Maglia, brother Joseph Doe III and great granddaughter, Emily O'Neil. The family would like to thank the staff and generous donors of the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill for their sincere and compassionate care.

Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the VFW Post No. 2104, 32 Park Street, North Andover, 01845 from 5:00 to 10:00 PM.
