NORTH ANDOVER - Barbara, although active, had been ill for years with many health issues.

Her only wish was to go peacfully in her sleep and be reunited with the love her love, "RayRay." Thankfully the good Lord saw fit to grant that to her.

Those who knew her will remember her passion for world issues and justeice for all. She spent a lifetime writing poetry that reflected that passion, writing letters to people in power who might listen and supporting causes and politicians that might effect change.

Barbara leaves her only son, her miracle, Dennis McGowan and his wife Wendy. She also leaves two beloved stepsons, Keith Martin and wife Laura and Brian Martin and wife Linda; and her six beautiful grandchildren, Brianna, Tyler ,Valerie, Bryce, amber and Ellie. She is also survived by sibling Frances Kuchar, Michele Jones, John Jones and Kelly Forrest; and many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and good friends!

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Raymond Martin; her parents Barbara and Byron "Buck" H. Jones; two siblings Nancy Hall-MacLeish and Byron "Buck" R. Jones. Her wishes were to have no service.
