HAVERHILL - Arthur "Artie" O. Dalton, III, 44, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 1, 2020 at home in the presence of his loving mother.

Born in Columbus, OH, he was the son of Arthur O. Dalton, Jr. of Lugoff, SC and Arina Montag of Haverhill, MA.

Raised and educated in Haverhill, he excelled as a Finish Carpenter and was most recently employed in Boston. Artie was known for his love of the outdoors and camping. He was a proud boy scout growing up. He enjoyed bike riding and playing tennis with his son Trae. He was also known for his love of all things music, and enjoyed attending live music and concerts with his boys and with friends. A self-taught drummer, he passed his joy of playing onto his oldest son Kye. He enjoyed family gatherings and always welcomed family and friends into his home for parties that will never be forgotten.

A proud father, Artie loved and cherished his beautiful children. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents Arthur and Arina, Artie is survived by his children Kye A. Dalton of Scottsdale, AZ, Trae C. Dalton of Haverhill, MA and Mikayla A. Gatchell of Haverhill MA; his brother Johann C. Dalton of Miami, FL; former spouse Angela M. Dalton of Haverhill, MA and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 8 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Celebration of Artie's Life will be held on Monday in the Rehoboth Lighthouse Gospel Church, 409 Washington Street, Haverhill from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited.
