DEERFIELD, NH - Arlene Rogers, 92, of Deerfield, NH, formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Exeter, NH hospital after a brief illness.

She was born July 31, 1931 in Haverhill, the daughter of Frank Waning and Emma (Fernekees) Waning. There she attended Haverhill schools and in 1948 she married her husband Rudolph Rogers Jr. They built a house and moved to the Ward Hill section of Haverhill. There she helped raise her 4 children. In later years they moved next to their son Timothy in Deerfield, NH where she lived until her admission to Ernest P. Barka Assisted Living in Brentwood, NH in March of 2022.

Arlene worked off and on at various shoe manufacturers in Haverhill until she found the her niche. She became a nurses assistant at the Glynn Memorial Nursing Home until retirement. She loved working with and helping her patients.

Arlene loved gardening and being outside where she was known to have a "green thumb." One of Arlene's most prominent attributes was her high energy level which she had until her passing. She absolutely adored her dogs Benji followed by Brandi who she leaves behind.

Arlene was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph, who passed away in 2016. She is survived by her four children, Patricia Giaquinta of Deerfield, NH, Michael Rogers and his wife Donna of Hampstead, NH, Scott Rogers of Methuen, MA, and Timothy Rogers and his partner Sheila Wakefield of Deerfield, NH. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Arlene was also predeceased by her son-in- law Ronald Giaquinta and all of her many brothers and sisters.
