HAVERHILL - Anthony J. Bruno, of Haverhill, passed away on April 30, 2023, with his family by his side. Tony was married for 28 years to Celeste and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He was educated in Salem, NH schools and worked for by Malden Mills and Schott Solar. Tony enjoyed the beach, playing golf, and watching all Boston sports teams. His tomato garden was his pride and joy; everyone in the family received some of Tony's tomatoes. He cherished the time with his wife, "the love of his life" and family was most important to him and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tony is survived by his wife Celeste; son James Bruno and wife Erin of Amesbury; stepdaughters, Christine Terroux and significant other Mike Millette of Hampstead, NH, Carrie Rivera and fiancé Jefrey Ferrera of Boston; sisters Frances Grenon and husband Roger of Manchester, NH, Lucille Kaatz and husband William of Barrington, NH, grandchildren, Olyvia, Emma, Leah, Isla and Hazel. Tony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Irene (Sasso) Bruno and brothers Sam and John Bruno.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will held on Friday, May 5, in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Please meet directly at the church. Interment will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tony's memory to the American Cancer Society at donate3.cancer.org .
