HAVERHILL - Annmarie M. Nelson, 59, passed away on January 2, 2016 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her four children.

Ann was born in Newton, MA on December 29, 1956, the daughter of Jim and Marie Mootrey. Ann worked for many years at Technical Training Foundation in North Andover, a dedicated worker who rarely missed a day. She enjoyed being with her family, going to Disney World, and had a passion for helping others. She was heavily involved with the Pentucket Kiwanis Club of Haverhill and was an avid volunteer.

Ann will be sadly missed by her children Heather Nelson, Hannah Suero and husband Aldis, James Nelson and Justin Nelson. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Jaxson and Savanah Suero; siblings Jim Mootrey and Karen Mootrey.

Celebration of Ann's Life will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Maria's Galleria Banquet Room, 85 Essex Street, Haverhill from 5:00 to 10:00 PM, all are welcomed to attend. As requested by Ann, a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Parish.
