HAVERHILL - Ann M. (Dorsey) Euele, 89, lifelong Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday morning, March 30, 2014 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Ann was born in Haverhill on December 18, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Michael and M. Martha (Devlin) Dorsey. Ann attended St. James Grammar School and a graduate of St. James High School.

Loving wife of the late Patrick A. Euele who passed in 1992.

Ann was employed by the former Western Electric Co., No. Andover until her retirement in 1981. She volunteered for many years at the Hale Hospital as a greeter.

Lifelong parishioner of St. James Parish, Haverhill. Member of Our Lady of the Rosary Sodality, Court No. 436, St. James; Catholic Daughters of America; and Sisters of St. Joseph Convent Association.

Ann was a devout Catholic, as well as a gentle and caring woman. She had many memories of summering in Seabrook Beach with her friends at their cottage affectionately known as the "Golden Girls Retreat".

Ann's family would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the staff of the Merrimack Valley Hospice House and the Palliative Care Team of Lawrence General Hospital.

Her surviving family members include her nieces, Patricia Driscoll of Bradford, Margaret Divincenzo and husband Dante of Bradford, and Ann Belkus and husband Richard of Lawrence; nephew, John Dorsey of Lawrence; sisters in-law, Elizabeth Dorsey of Haverhill, and Louise Euele of Amesbury; several grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and was "Auntie Ann" to many dear friends; adored sister of the late Luke Dorsey, William Dorsey and John Dorsey; aunt of the late Michael Dorsey.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, April 2, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. James Church, 185 Winter St., Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday in the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
