HAVERHILL - Anita Marie (Coito) Panneton, 56, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family after her courageous 15-year battle with ovarian cancer.

Anita was born in Haverhill on July 6, 1962, daughter of the late William and Gail (George) Decoito. She was raised in Haverhill by her father Bill and step-mother Helen Decoito. She is the cherished wife of Bruce Panneton.

She had several jobs throughout her life, but her most successful profession was being a full-time grandmother. Anita devoted her life to being heavily involved in all six of her grandchildren's lives. When she wasn't running back and forth to various sporting events, she volunteered her time at the Salvation Army and Granite United Church. She found faith and peace by helping others find their own path and strength through her own battle with cancer.

Her surviving family members in addition to her husband Bruce include her loving children, PJ Panneton and wife Nicole of Haverhill and Lynne Panneton of Haverhill; grandchildren Kayla, Jaylin, Elijah, Brayden, Mya and Natale all of Haverhill; siblings Millie, Nellie, Hazel, Bill and TJ all of Haverhill.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will continue on Saturday, September 15, at Granite United Church, 284 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Interment will be privately held in Linwood Cemetery.
