Angelo Riva, Jr., a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born on August 23, 1935, in Boston to Angelo Riva and Mary Riva.

Angelo proudly served his country as a United States Marine from 1954 to 1957. His time in the Marine Corps was an important part of his life and reflected the strength, dedication, and loyalty that he carried with him throughout the years.

After his military service, Angelo devoted 26 years of his working life to the Teamsters. He was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for and caring for his family.

Angelo was preceded in death by his beloved wife Suzanne Riva; his daughter Michele Riva; and his two brothers Hugo Riva and Albert Riva.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael Riva and his wife Marie and Matthew Riva and his fiancée Nicole Conroy.

Angelo and Suzanne also shared a special bond with Luis Tejada, who was loved and considered like a son to them.

Above all, Angelo was a father. To his children, he was so much more than that title could ever express. He was a source of strength, love, protection, and guidance. To his youngest son, Matthew, he was a hero—a man whose presence, sacrifices, and love left an everlasting mark on his heart.

Angelo’s life was defined not only by the years he lived, but by the people he loved and the lives he touched. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his service to his country, his years of hard work, and the lasting love he gave to those closest to him.

Though he is no longer here, the memories he created, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of his family forever.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Final Rites will be offered at 11:00 AM.
