Obituary

HAMPSTEAD, NH: Amy Beth (Canovitch) Chambers, 50 years old, passed away peacefully in her home on March 3, 2021.

Amy was born on September 9, 1970 in Haverhill, and attended Haverhill Public Schools graduating from Haverhill High School, Class of 1988. Amy earned a bachelor's degree in Finance at Merrimack College. While attending Merrimack College Amy worked with her mom as a receptionist at the family business Charisma Salon, later becoming a stylist following in her Mon's footsteps. Amy left Charisma Salon (much to her mom's dismay) to pursue a successful 25 year career in customer service for Thompson Reuters, now Refinitiv.

Amy's proudest accomplishment were her two children Cameron and Saige Chambers. Amy enjoyed watching her son excel at both football and lacrosse, and was so very proud when Cameron was recruited for his athletic abilities by Proctor Academy. Amy loved to kayak and paddle board with her daughter Saige. Amy also enjoyed watching Saige perform gymnastics and dance, but Amy was most proud of Saige's academic accomplishments as a straight A+ student.

Throughout her life, Amy made a lasting impression on everyone she met with her beautiful smile and kind heart. Friends will always remember  Amy for her incredible sense of humor, infectious laugh, and unwavering commitment to her family.

Amy is survived, and will be deeply missed, by her children Cameron and Saige, and their father Richard Chambers of Hampstead; her parents, Craig and Jeanne Canovitch of Haverhill; her brother Tim Canovitch and his wife Kim of Haverhill; her uncle Ken Tuccolo and his wife Linda of Newton, NH; her uncle Dan Tuccolo of Haverhill; her aunt Lynette (Canovitch) Rizzo and her husband Vincent of Plaistow, NH; her uncle Lowell Canovitch and his wife Marianna of Peabody, MA, as well as many cousins and friends.

Amy is predeceased by her aunt Kathy Hill, her uncle Nick Tuccolo, and grandparents Anthony and Elizabeth Canovitch and Domonic and Mavis Tuccolo.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Amy's visitation hours on Tuesday morning, March 9 th , between the hours of 10:30am and 1:00pm at First Baptist Church, 217 Main St., Haverhill, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill.
