HAMPTON, NH: Alice (Koliopoulos) Papadopoulos, 97, formerly of Holiday, FL, passed away suddenly on February 5, 2015. She was the wife of the late Epaminondas Papadopoulos to whom she was married for 51 years.

Born in Greece on May 6, 1917, Alice was the daughter of the late Dionysios and Angelike (Tsanganelias) Koliopoulos.

Educated in Haverhill, she graduated from Haverhill High School, and then began a long career in the accounting department at Western Electric. Alice was very loyal to her faith. She was a member of the Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church in Haverhill, and after moving to Florida, she joined Holy Trinity Church in Clearwater, FL.

Alice enjoyed traveling and she and her husband were fortunate to have been able to live in Greece and travel throughout the world.

The family wishes to thank her family, friends and caregivers; Dorothy Freeman, Cheryl Gale, Joanne Russman, Candy Laliberte and Shirley Sylvester.

Alice was the sister of the late Virginia E. Tikelis and Nicholas Ellis. She is survived by her nieces, Kristina T. Hanges and her husband Perry of Salem, NH, Margaret Ellis and Diana Peper, both of Houston, TX; several grand nieces and nephews including her beloved Nicholas Hanges of Nashville, TN.

Friends are invited to the funeral service on Monday, February 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church in Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the funeral, at the church, from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Linwood Cemetery.
