Albert M. Saunders, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021, with his family by his side.

He was the beloved husband of the late Muriel Saunders. Al was raised in Arlington, MA and lived in Burlington, MA for many years. Al joined IBEW Local 103 in December 1951. He worked as an electrician for 40 years. He was deeply devoted to his family, always showing his unwavering love and support. Al was blessed with many years of marriage, retirement, family and friends. He enjoyed dancing, traveling, winters in Florida, boat rides, and sharing his camp he built on Merrymeeting Lake. He had a passion for cooking, gardening, fishing, and hunting. We will all miss his compassionate nature, love for others, and his one-of-a-kind grin.

Devoted father to Wendy Ferreira and husband John of Methuen, MA, Wayne Saunders and wife Roxanne of Rowley, MA, Holly Jacobson and husband Karl of Hampton, NH, and Heather O'Brien and husband Cory of Topsfield, MA. Loving Grampa to Douglas, Natalie, Kimberly, Darren, Alex, Bethany, Kristel, Kandra, Lars, and James. Great Grampa to Henry, Carson, and Josephine.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 18, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Services will follow.
