Obituary

HAVERHILL - 1st Sgt. Timothy J. Luke, 37, of Lawrence and Nashua, NH, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019.

Tim was born in Lawrence on December 16, 1981, loving son of Joanne D. Luke and the late Robert S. Luke, and was raised and educated in Lawrence.

He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age 17 and for the next 20 years served his country proudly and passionately, always striving to be the best. He completed several tours of duty during his career that took him all over the world, gaining confidence and experience with each deployment. He dedicated his life to the uniform.

During his free time, his activities included being an avid reader, being an outdoor enthusiast, and a music and food lover, but most of all, he was devoted to his children and family. He was a loyal man who always brought the fun.

His surviving family members include his cherished children Samantha K. Luke and Nathaniel J. Luke; mother Joanne D. Luke; siblings Shawn R. Luke and wife Colleen, Brittany J. Kothman and husband Sean and Heather K. Luke; several nieces and nephews; endless and loyal friends; and his Marine Corps brothers.

We leave our love in ash...were a mighty fire once had roared.
